My post are a little out of order, but since it’s close to harvest time for those that have plants growing outdoors. I thought I would post this handy guide about when to harvest your buds. I found this real handy chart that explains everything very precise in a few photos.
If you’re growing indoors you may be harvesting at any given time. Growing indoors gives you almost total control over the growing environment. No matter when you harvest your plants the above chart will come in handy!
Depending on what type of harvest you want you’ll have to pay close attention to the trichomes. I was given good advice by a fellow grower on another growing web site. Get a Jewelers Loop. This way you can get a very close look at the trichomes and know just about exactly when you should harvest your crop. I posted a very good inexpensive one below. It’s actually the one I have and it works very well. If you click on the link you’ll have options for different Jewelers Loops at different prices. A Jewelers Lop is a very inexpensive piece of equipment, but can be extremely valuable to you around harvest time.
